Agreed, a focus on the small simple actions may reveal much more hope than the predictable headlines usually splashed across the newspapers -- of more bombings, more deaths, and more hate.  I found Sarah&#039;s perspective as a outside journalist poignant in showing how intolerance breeds intolerance, no matter which of sides she spoke with.</description>

		<description>In fact, the old city of Hebron is even worse than that - the settlers live above the Palestinians, divided by a thin layer of barbed wire and a mountain of hate.

I think the only way forward is to refuse to co-operate with the dominant discourse and to focus on the situation on the ground - and to find simple small actions that help not hinder the situation.  We offend everyone for various reasons, but equally we believe that Palestinians need jobs if there is ever to be peace - so we trade with manufacturers in Bethlehem despite the difficulties.  I have no opinions on large scale solutions or peace initiatives.  I&#039;ve not met enough Israelis to get an idea of their perspective.</description>
