Previously I'd felt rationing water in Vancouver was like sand in a desert. I think it's definitely one of those "don't know what you got til..." I live off of a well and have been very blessed in terms of water accessability. But living in the city and having to pay the bills makes you realise that the amount of water you consume makes a difference.
Someone actually came door to door in our neighbour and gave out free faucets and shower heads that use much less water. I thought that was pretty sweet and we should definately take the steps we need to protect, like it is said, the most valuable resource on earth.I really liked this article Ian.
