wow, just got back to the UK after 11 months seeing Africa, OZ, NZ, Chili and Arg and i feel the same. I never want to stop seeing and absorbing things. Going out with a few work friends last night, everything seem so fickle and unimportant in the 'world' perspective of things. Im finding it hard not talking to new people and being alone. The life style of travelling is diffiecult and tiring but would be great to share with someone special like you did. Im a Nomad now and that makes me difficult to be with. I never want to looses my spirit.
Reading your comment i can fully relate to make me realise that im not on my own. Thank you

Yes, that is it. Once I started following my dreams and making what I love my life, I became a freelance writer and cook. I was not able to join the normal workforce when I moved down teh cpuntry, and though it frustrated me in the beginning, it was a Godsend in the end, because it pushed me to realize my potential, follow my dreams and really make something of myself!
Best of Luck - just remember, there are no coincidences, so there may be a reason you can't find something mainstream!

I'm pretty sure that once the travel bug bites you, it's very hard to get out of your system. I never really joined the workforce after my own extended trip - I'm a freelance writer now.

Maybe the trick is to make traveling and extended trips part of your lifestyle and not a one-time only thing? After all, I bet most of us start planning our next trip while we're still on the previous one.
