You forgot the 80s music... which is good in almost every situation. Well, unless there are other people listening to it. ha ha

haha, i suppose the Bryan Adams recommendation is definitely a Canadian thing. but come on...who doesn't want to hear Summer of 69 while whipping down the highway?

Hey Ian,

I couldn't agree more with the Marley; he transcends tastes and cultures and is always a good go-to. I have to agree with Tim re: Bryan Adams. I might also suggest some Robert Randolph (I Need More Love) if you're looking for a party-starter. I wish I was chillin' in a hammock right now...
Great list!

Good call on the Bob Marley, Ian - almost makes up for your inexplicable Bryan Adams recommendation. I'll never totally understand Canadians.

Not that I've needed it more than twice, but what about the all-important "first time she comes back to your place" playlist? There's no situation where it's more crucial to hit the right...note.

Your hammock lounging mix would work - or the jungle lodge mix if she's that sort of girl. I like Junior Boys and Band of Horses.

Enjoy the Toronto waterfront -

Yes, you missed that hallowed moment when you finally decide to chuck the job, the lover, the house, and pack it all into a duffel swung around your shoulder and step out into the great, wide world...

Modest Mouse: World At Large, Float On
Morcheeba: Wonders Never Cease..
Red Hot Chili Peppers: Snow (hey Oh)
Cake: Wheels
Death Cab for Cutie: Soul Meets Body, Sound of Settling
Matt Kearney: All I need
The Raconteurs: Steady as She Goes

I could go on...Check these out!
