I enjoyed reading Ã¢â‚¬Å“A Lake of Pure SunshineÃ¢â‚¬Â by Scott Calhoun. I couldn’t help remembering Wordsworth’s lines
” When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze”. The California Poppy Festival is held every spring to celebrate the arrival of spring and mark the Earth Day(April 19th and April 20th in 2008).

Weddings – always a good time. I got one this Saturday. Was with the bride and groom for their first date, in a felucca on the Nile. Thanks for reading Eva!

Hey thanks for the David Farley piece, Tim! I haven’t gotten to the others yet, but it was nice to read something a little mushy and sweet on my lunch break. (Yeah, I got a little teary… Weddings slay me every time.)
