Great choice..I'm filipina although have not spent too much time there but will be doing so in the future. You'll probably have tons of choice in Beijing for accommodation after the Olympics...you should be able to negotiate a really good rate too because of the timing. We live in a little town (helena) outside of Birmingham, Alabama, USA. My travel agent knew the people that we're swapping with. They, like us, just want to be emerged in another culture. I wasn't convinced (nor could I find anyone) that someone would want to come & stay in Nottingham or Newark (a tiny village outside Nottingham) in return for an exotic villa in the Caribbean!! It's also worth pondering how you'll develop and continue your business while on the go. If you're parked in a small alpine village for a while for the xc ski season (yep, that's the voice of experience) are your clients going to be able to reach you and do they care where you are? If you're project driven, how do you find the next project when the last one wraps up? Lots to think about, but yeah, when it works well, it's a good life!
