DSC00883It’s time to wrap up the week now with our favorite links from around the web.

With winter fast approaching in the Northern Hemisphere, it’s time to start thinking about Caribbean getaways. This collection of lesser-known and budget-friendly Caribbean islands from the CBC will jump-start your wanderlust.

Vagabondish (one of our favorite online magazines) ran a great article yesterday about overcoming your pre-trip anxieties.

Your Momma told you not to talk to strangers - but that’s no fun. This article will tell you how to converse with random people on the street - and the folks who wrote it know what they’re talking about.

The fine folks at Matador have launched a new travel zine called the traveler’s notebook. Check out 10 Conscious Choices To Make On Your Next Trip.

The Brave New Traveler team loves beautiful travel photography. If you have a quiet moment this weekend, open your heart and drift into Ryan Libre’s awe-inspiring gallery of mountain photos.

Have a great weekend everybody!

Oh good, I’m glad the CBC didn’t mention Anegada in the British Virgin Islands. Wouldn’t want too many people to know about it.
