Adena,

While I enjoyed your article, I disagree! Yes, stresses of long-distance relationships are a reality, but if you have faith, and trust, and are truly, seriously comitted, and sure of yourself and the other person, I maintain that “love on the road” can last.

I myself am in love with a travel agent I met in India last year. I have now moved there, and we have been together for about a year. While I have had other travel romances that were total disasters, it’s all about the person (people)and I have found that love at home also has it’s risks of turning awry.

Just a thought…

I enjoyed your short story about love on the road. Life is more exciting when you travel and it always seems easier to open yourself to new experiences away from home.
