Sigh. Yeah, I know. But consider the alternative: Frederick.
That’s my real name. It’s a tradition in my family to name all the men Frederick. Ask for Frederick, 4 people turn and go “huh?”
My grandfather’s the only one who goes by Frederick. Everyone else uses their middle name. I’m proud of my family heritage, and out of respect for my grandfather I keep my name as given. But it’s so dated.
Please, just call me Daniel. Mr. Harbecke if you’re nasty.
