Good for you! We still have snowy weather and once it warms up we
will plant some willows to help with sediment catchment and fisheries habitat.

I am going to volunteer to clean a creek that runs through my neighborhood. We do it every year, and it not only helps creek, but lets us get to know each other.

My canine companion of 13+ years (Beau) and I cleaned up 3 miles of creek, filled up the back of my rig with trash and recyclables and got them to the land fill/recycling center….just as it started to snow! Too cold for frogs. Time to fire up the wood stove.

I won’t describe my whole game plan, but a lot of it’s based on something George Carlin once said:

“You show me a lazy prick lying in bed all day watching TV, and I’ll show you a guy who’s not causing any trouble.”

Gosh! For me, EVERY day’s Earth Day…! =)
