I tend to do more local traveling. I love short road trips to the river where I can hang out on the bank and pretend to be fishing. Actually, I am fishing for a little free time without all the noise. I think short roadtrip within a persons state helps you appreciate the beauty and history of your state. I live in a mostly rural state in the U.S. so get a lot of contact with Mother Nature. Local rural roadtrips puts a person back in touch with the sounds and experiences of nature.
