I wish I knew the cure - you can get over when a girlfriend leaves, but you always keep hope alive when you fall in love with a place, and you feel it when they suffer. I think it's something we're not supposed to get over. Good luck to you in Myanmar. Here's hoping she can get over the twin tragedies of natural disaster and human selfishness.
