Often we can return from our travels with great intentions of not forgetting the locals we met and seeing what we can do to help but then get caught up in the daily grind. This post had some great suggestions for making sure that doesn't happen. I have found that if you know/meet westerners working in that country who have lived there a while, asking them which organisations are making a difference on the ground/have good credibility can be a great place to start when it comes to weeding through the often huge pile of charity organisations available to support. I loved this post!
