I lived in Burkina Faso for 7 years and I followed Brook's blog as he journeyed through Africa. The movie is a great portrayal of real people living in Africa. It is thoughtfully compiled, simple yet sophisticated and insightful. It does not glamorize Africa's problems but relates them as they are. It reveals the great strength of the African character. Brook caught much more about Africa than someone passing through. I just saw the movie. I lived in Burkina Faso for 7 years and I followed Brook’s blog as he journeyed through Africa.
