This tale has been told many times before, but here’s a succint reimagining by Free Range Studios and narrated by Mark Albion, author of More Than Money.

Given the current economic climate, it’s interesting to ponder the message of the fisherman. Some might argue that life without striving is a life wasted.

But for anyone who’s ever found a quiet beach and watching the sun go down with a beer Chang, I’d bet they’d beg to differ.

I love this parable…I had this pinned up on my cubicle wall back home. I think more people will begin to understand the message behind this as this economic crisis drags on.

Thanks for sharing this video. I’m enjoying where I am at right now and can’t wait for the “hot temps” in AZ…I have short and long-term goals that will give me more “freedom” in my life to do the things that I love to do….
