I myself am about to start an international journey, but have never before left the country because of that Survival Dance...I've always worked several jobs, and after starting up my first business in college, I was too busy to travel when my friends did. Time to start on that second dance: while I'm young enough to do the fancy moves! Ah, I like the visual of the twin-but-not-parallel pursuits of Survival and Sacred Dances. I've been trying to "learn my survival dance" for two weeks now, looking for employment in entry level chains. I always think back to the chapter in vagabonding that talks about finding joy in your job, knowing you're preparing for your future adventures. it's difficult to do at sometimes, but I'll keep going til I can get more practice "learning my soul dance" I'll have to check into plotkin thank you for the article I third that sentiment.
