If it weren't for the media, I wouldn't even know there was a recession. I mean, I don't doubt it's happening. I do work for the government, so maybe I'm sheltered a bit (so that tip there to work for the gov't is obviously a sound one). But shopping malls, shops, cafes, restaurants, two camper shows I went to...all packed with people. WTF? It’s funny. If it weren’t for the media, I wouldn’t even know there was a recession. What a post! What has been keeping me going is art and music. If I didn't have music, I don't know what I'd do. I love art and do graphic design. I started painting with acrylics as well. Of course, writing is "da bomb" for me. I love to write. I also made the decision to "tune out" the talk. This is a bit of a challenge, but I do my best. And...thinking about places I can travel to has been keeping me going. I would love to "cut bait and get out of the USA" for sometime. It will not solve anything, but at least I'd be in a different location, among different people. Maybe I'll learn something along the way. Oh my! What a post!
