Haha...anyway, we all hung out together and had a blast. Tis indeed a small world. I can definitely relate to #1 and #2 -- a new city just gets my heart pumping, and the times I've had those crazy, random encounters around the world have certainly been memorable, too. Once, in a hostel in Granada, Spain, I ran into a girl I hadn't seen since junior high. The next night I was coming back from the bar, with her, and we ran into two girls I went to college with. And when they have "typical local spots", sometimes they are set up for tourists, which makes them far less "local". But yes, cities can retain a good deal of charm, I just got back from Istanbul: wonderful. oohh you mean this for “getting high”… that’s ok then :-) )
