Hey Allison…I know exactly what you are describing. I bet I can even do a pretty good job guessing some of your reactions and other feelings being in West Africa. About 2 years ago I spent 5 months in Ghana. I also recently wrote my thesis focusing on the war in Sierra Leone. I can’t wait to read more of your blog!
