Hey Benny the Irish Polyglot, I added the reference where I got the Scientology creation story in the article, but can’t seem to find how Xenu got here–guess it’s like the other creation stories, there was always just some “thing” that existed that created everything else.

Though I did find this information (http://altreligion.about.com/od/mythologicalfigures/a/xenu.htm):

Scientologists are not made aware of Xenu until they have reached a stage known as OT-III. Those who have not reached this rank frequently actively avoid any materials that refer to Xenu, considering it improper and even dangerous to read them. Those who have reached the rank of OT-III often publicly deny the existence of the Xenu myth, although this might be more understandable in the light of the idea that such knowledge is dangerous to the unprepared.

I’m sure they are just trying to protect you by not saying where Xenu came from

Hey! I was really looking forward to the Scientology’s creation story. You just summarized what was shown in that South Park episode. I want to know how Xenu popped into existence! Was he touched by His noodly appendage?

Is a flying spaghetti monster follower known as a pastafarian?! (not my joke … thankfully)

The ancient Egyptian religion had loads of intertwined and related creation myths, one of which aslo involves spunk of the gods. In a nutshell (as it were), the god Amun Min was flying through the void one day, and decided he was bored and lonely. So he cracked one off. And thus the universe was born, from his semen.

In fact, I think the Egyptians believed that the Milky Way was ejaculate. Some people claim that the pharaohs were buried with erect penises, with a an open shaft above them pointing towards the sky. Draw your own conclusions!

I always liked the Akkadian (ancient Mesopotamian) creation myth, where the central/father God figure “copulated with his fist” and his child-gods, um, burst forth. Who needs women after all, huh?
