Certainly, "brief" is the key word here. Nevertheless, it makes the plant's criminalization seem laughable--however, it's probably the only thing stoners DON'T think is funny. I know it mentioned a few benefits of hemp (enthanol, pain relief) but it's really amazing how many uses there actually are. It's silly that not even the basic hemp plant is banned and not taken advantage of. It's easy to grow (it's a weed) and has almost no affect when smoked.

There is progress being made. I lived in Denver for some time and pot was decriminalized on a local level for personal use (amounts up to 1 oz.). I can't stand the fact that one's own moral choice makes you a criminal in the eyes of the law. To be listed on the same level as cocaine and herion is mind-blowing...yet alcohol is allowed so that college students can die or drunk drivers can continue killing innocent people. When's the last time someone died of a weed overdose? I'll take a case of the munchies over a body bag any day (no disrespect, beer, I still love you too).

By the way, you wouldn't happen to know the artist of the song in this video, would you?
