There was this bus driver on this one route, always at the end of the work day...the first time I went on it I was like WTF? He had these candy bars in a pouch at the front and at first I thought he was selling them to make an extra buck. A few minutes in, he came on the speaker and (always the same intro whenever I took it) and explained that he likes to play trivia with his passengers, how he wants people to walk into their homes with a smile on their face (and hopefully a chocolate bar in their hands). Whenever he started, I'd look around, and everyone would have this smile on their face as they realized when was going on...even the gloomiest looking people would start smiling...of course, everyone tries to suppress it at first (which is quite bizarre actually)...but you couldn't help smiling and laughing...as the trivia went on more and more people would join in and soon the whole bus would be yelling out answers to the questions. To think that one person can have such a positive effect on so many people's lives, even for a few minutes...outstanding.
