About Brave New Traveler
Brave New Traveler, launched in October 2006, is a daily travel magazine on the web.
We publish thoughtful and entertaining articles exploring travel in the 21st century.
Incorporating original content and previously published articles from guest authors, BNT avoids “destination-specific” narratives and instead focuses on topics like philosophy, health, politics and culture.
We are two editors, Ian MacKenzie and Tim Patterson, and a whole bunch of talented contributors, writing about stuff that matters: how to travel the world, respect other cultures, and discover the many paths to being a global citizen.
Joining with Matador Travel
In January 2008, we joined forces with the like-minded travelers at Matador. This exciting venture will allow us to join their network of quality travel blogs, and their community at MatadorTravel.com.
