Ian MacKenzie is a writer, videographer, and web designer, based in Vancouver, BC.

He has been published on a number of topics, including pop culture, new media, technology, human rights, spirituality and the environment. He holds a BA in Communication and a Diploma in Fiction writing.

In early 2005, Ian co-founded SiK Media, a web company to develop various online projects such as the current TravelBlogger – a hub for traveler’s to post their journals and photos while on the road.

He served as editor of TravelBlogger Magazine for 16 months, producing a number of issues with quality writing from freelance writers around the globe.

In Spring 2006, Ian backpacked throughout Thailand, Cambodia and Laos, and blogged the journey via his travel profile. Other countries he has backpacked through include Canada, England, France, Germany, Spain, Czech Republic, Fiji, and Australia.
